We never stop

We have been going and going and going and don't foresee a break anytime in the next month! We haven't had a weekend home in weeks but we've had a lot of fun!

TWEEDY FAMILY REUNION:
Last weekend we went to Rhode Island for a Tweedy Family reunion. We got together with my cousins who live in Florida and Tennessee so we don't seem them often at all so it was great seeing them and meeting their girlfriends, wives and families! Here are a few pictures for the weekend.

Mason relaxing on the ground in his diaper...it was SO HOT!

We went down a day early and stayed in a hotel and Max LOVED jumping in the pool! He's becoming quite the swimmer!! NO FEAR!

LEWIS FAMILY REUNION

This past weekend Max & I went to Barrington Shores campground (Mason and Ray stayed behind) to visit with the Lewis side of the family! It was a lot of fun and Max was again in his glory swimming, playing shuffleboard, riding his bike, going on a tractor ride, eating s'mores and sleeping in a tent with Mommy!

And in the weeks ahead...
Next weekend Ray & I are running the Beach to Beacon. (10K race in Cape Elizabeth) I ran it 8 years ago and was about 30lbs lighter and training for pre-season for college soccer so I'm in for a tough run. UGH! I've been running about 3 times a week (2-4 miles) and will really hanker down this week and get a run in each day. My goal this year...to finish!! :) I'm certainly not looking to set any records!! Just tyring to be more active and take this weight off!
Then we have a lobster bake the next weekend at Ray's Uncles and then the following weekend my friend Arin is getting married in Boothbay Harbor.
It really never ends!!!
Here are a few pictures of the boys to end this post :) Oh yeah - Mason cut two teeth this weekend, started doing raspberries and he's consistently sleeping through the night :) HOORAY!!

Bobfest

This weekend we went to the annual "Bobfest" in China, ME! I think this is the 13th year in the running. It began with a bunch of college fraternity brothers, then morphed into the guys and their "girlfriends"...then into the guys with their wives...and now it's a kids festival! As always, we had a blast and it was great seeing everyone and getting all the kids together. Max and Mason stayed with us until about 5pm and then lucky for us Ray's parents live about 15 minutes down the road so we dropped the kids off for the night which allowed us to consume some much needed adult beverages and take off the parenting hats for a night! :)

With kids...

Max swimming in the pool with Daddy and the other kids

Mason kicking back in his jumparoo on the pool deck

The closest Max will gt to a motorcycle!

He loves this thing!!

Max and his new girlfriend, Grace

AND THEN...after we dropped the kids off...we'll leave it with this photo...

In other news:

Mason went to his 4 month appointment last Wednesday and endured 4 shots :(

17lbs 6oz (93 percentile)
28 1/4 inches long (103+ percentile)

He's going to be HUGE! Max has always been a BIG boy but when he was 4 months he was 16lbs. 5oz and 26 1/2 inches long. Mason's got almost 2 inches on him!!
Here are both of the boys 4 months pictures! Kind of neat to see how much they are alike and different at the same time. Max was a CHUB-A-DUB and Mason is much longer and slimmer...

Max 4 months (March 30, 2005)
Today is our 6th Anniversary (how time flies!) We woke up early, even though we had no kids but were in a tent (and feeling a bit fuzzy for the nights festivities), had a quick breakfast and headed to Ray's parents to see the boys. Due to the fact that daycare is closed this week Ray & Di are watching the boys tomorrow. (my mom is watching them Tuesday - Thursday and Ray is taking Friday off for a "day with the boys") Originally we were going to take them home with us today and then meet halfway tomorrow morning but it made more sense to just keep them there to avoid the unecessary travel. I haven't been away from either of them for 2 nights - it's tough - I'm not good at being away from them for long, I'll admit it! But luckily we got to spend 3-4 hours with them today and then talked via webcam toinght so I'm okay.
Ray and I got home at about 2:30 this afternoon in hopes to get a few things done around the house without the boys (mow the lawn and clean the house a bit) and then head out to a nice dinner to celebrate our anniversary. Well not so much....we got home and took a nap until 5:15!! It was awesome!!!!!! I haven't napped like that for years! Than when we woke up we looked at each other and said "pizza?" - so we ordered pizza and watched a movie! So our plan of having a productive day flopped but it was such a great, relaxing afternoon! A nap, pizza and a movie...what more can you ask for? We throughly enjoyed it!
So our summer is NUTS! We're booked solid for the next two months - literally we don't have a free weekend until AFTER Labor Day!! Lots of fun stuff though! Next weekend we're off to Boston and Rhode Island for a mini Tweedy family reunion. The next weekend it's camping in NH with the Lewis side of the family.

Milestones...

Last weekend Max rode his bike for the first time without training wheels!! Every free moment he has he's on his bike. So Ray and I thought heck, why not try it without the training wheels...within 5 minutes he was off like there was nothing to it. It was impressive to say the least. 3 1/2 years old and riding a bike like he's freaking Lance Armstrong! Unreal.

Check it out for yourself...this is his first try...

Mason ROLLED for the first time this afternoon!!!! I missed it but Ray & Max caught it! :)

It's been a busy few weeks. Last weekend we went up to Westport Island for a BBQ with a bunch of Ray's college friends which was nice and luckily the weather held out for us! Here are a few pictures of the boys from that.

This weekend we headed to Massachusetts to see the Lozano clan! Good times, as always! Stone and Max had a blast hanging out all weekend, riding their bikes, playing 'tackle', riding around in Stone's truck and playing at the playground! Here's a really cute picture of Max, Stone and Fallon...

We gt back from MA today and headed to Blake & Alex's 3rd Birthday! I didn't get a picture of the both of them but here's Alex with their cake:

And this is just hilarious...oh to be a Mom of 3 boys...

Garrett SOAKING Lori :)

Tonight Max got his "summer cut" I LOVE it!!! Ray...not so much! Whatever, hair grows! I think he looks adorable and handsome as ever!

And Mason...the always changing little guy - still as cute as a button! Four months old already! He goes to his 4 month appointment on Wednesday so I'll be interested to see how BIG he is!

And lastly - I just thought this was really pretty. We've been having Florida-like weather. Hot, humid days with a thunderstorm in the afternoon - so we've been seeing lots of rainbows - this photo didn't do this one justice. It was gorgeous and went from one side of our house to the other.
